Shah Rukh Khan introduced the Kolkata Knight Riders, one of the eight Indian Premier League teams, at a function held at Taj Land's End, Bandra, Mumbai. Shah Rukh's wife, Gauri Khan, Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta - all part owners, were present at the event.
Others who attended the event included cricketers Saurav Ganguly, Ishant Sharma and Akash Sharma, actor Sanjay Kapoor, Murali Kartik, Akash Chopra, Cheteshwar Pujara, Lalit Modi and designer Manish Malhotra
